G3 Codec Support Ends July 1st 2024
Tieline has announced that support for Tieline Commander G3 and i-Mix G3 codecs will cease from July 1, 2024.
The earliest of these codecs are now well over 20 years old and G3 codecs were officially retired in 2018. Technology has advanced significantly, and components and accessories for these products have been exhausted, and are therefore no longer available to purchase. As a result, it is no longer feasible to continue repairing or supporting the G3 range of codecs, or associated software, which includes Toolbox and the Commander G3 Software Codec Controller.
Tieline will continue to provide a web page at www.tieline.com/support for Tieline customers to access:
- User manuals for all G3 products
- The last release version of firmware for all G3 products, except the TLR300
- Toolbox software versions and the Commander G3 Software Codec Controller
- A wide range of tech notes to assist with setup and configuration
